IT-SPECIALIST

We are looking for a dedicated IT-specialist as head programer to develop the interactive website-app. Improve your software skills (under supervision) by applying your IT-knowledge to a communication tool that will help overcome language barriers and make a difference for immigrants all over the world.

ILLUSTRATORS
​
Create medical illustrations from sketches under the supervision of Sara, our head illustrator and a professional in Bern. She has a program to digitally draw the medical symptoms (it’s like drawing on a piece of paper).

Specific Requirements:
To become an illustrator you need to be creative and draw well (no need for any specific qualifications)... if you’re a natural talent and if you like pencil drawing, you’re perfect!
Time Commitment:
Each digital illustration is about 3 hours of work (average). Still over 100 digital drawings need to be done!
However, the number of drawings you do is up to your availability and capacity.

HUMAN RESOURCES: RECRUITMENT AND MANAGEMENT

Recruitment of new members and volunteers.
Administration and management of members and volunteers.
Help with the organisation of social events and meetings.
Are you talented in organising events and bringing people with different backgrounds and skills together? Yes?! Then we want you!

PICTOMED depends on its dedicated volunteers.

Specific Requirements:
​Recruitment, Advertising, Strategic Planning, Logistics, German and English proficiency. Preferably Swiss citizen or resident.
MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION

​Organisation, administration and management of campaigns and fundraising events.
Are you talented in organising events and marketing? Are you well connected in society? Yes?! Then we want you!

PICTOMED depends on sponsors and donations, but so far we find it difficult to raise money and awareness.
We are open to your ideas and know-how.

Specific Requirements:
​Fundraising, Donor Management, Strategic Planning, Logistics, Marketing, German proficiency. Preferably with connections, meaning a good network to draw resources from.
RESEARCH ASSISTANT

​Creating meaningful surveys and study designs for research and validation of our communication tool. 

Specific Requirements:
Academic background, statistics, study designs, data analysis and interpretation, paper writing, English proficiency.
